AED Essentials has been providing Rockford and the surrounding areas quality services since 2003. As an EMS provider and flight nurse, the founder of AED Essentials saw a pattern with the cardiac arrest victims. Many of these patients had received little or no CPR/AED intervention prior to ambulance arrival.

AVERT (Active Violence Emergency Response Training)

In today’s world, being prepared to respond to acts of violence is more important than ever. AVERT – Active Violence Emergency Response Training – empowers individuals with the skills to recognize warning signs, react decisively, and respond with life-saving measures in critical moments.

AVERT goes beyond traditional active shooter training by combining situational awareness with emergency medical response. Participants will learn how to identify potential threats, escape or counter an attacker, and control life-threatening bleeding — all while gaining the confidence to act under pressure.
